"Problem loading widget" errorss

I fully accept that this problem is almost certainly down to memory usage, and that it will (hopefully) be resolved when the next EAP for 1.31 is released – as mentioned in this thread: http://automagic4android.com/forum/view ... f=5&t=5771 - but I thought that I’d document the issue here is case anybody else is searching for it.
I’m running Android 6.0.1 (rooted) on a Nexus 6. My launcher is Nova Launcher Prime. I have 8 separate home screens and my plan was to put two custom widgets at the top left of each screen. One is the name of the screen (e.g. “1. Media” or “3. Cars”), and the other is a status monitor (time, date, battery level, current profile, etc).
On a number of the custom widgets, I get an error “Problem loading widget”. However, precisely which widgets show this error varies from time to time. They might display correctly at boot time, and then (when they refresh, I think) from time to time show this error instead. At any given time, around 5 or 6 of the 16 widgets might be showing this error. Once a particular widget shows the error it seems to stay that way until the handset is rebooted.
I’m running about 10 other apps which are displaying widgets with no problems, which makes me suspect that the problem is with Automagic rather than with Nova.
Not expecting any responses here – though would be interested to know whether anybody else is having this problem – but looking forward to 1.31.
