Hi,

On Android 5 you could lower the volume to vibrate and then silent. On silent you could choose for how long.

On Android 6 (CM 13) you can lower the volume to vibrate and then to "don not disturb". The big change is that on DND you can only click "end now" and are not able to choose for how long the DND should be active. If you manually activate the DND in the notification area however, you get to choose for how long.

I use the "until" function very often and would like to use it as in Android 5. I've found the "Set Interruptions Mode" action and could trigger it on "Ringer Mode" silent/vibrate - but it doesn't open the "until" selector.

Is there a way in Automagic to trigger/open the "until" selector? Or any other way to get the functionality I'm after? Searched the forums but didn't find anything.

To my knowledge there's no way to directly start the user interface used to define the timeout for the DnD mode.
You could use action Control UI to open the quick settings and click on the DnD tile to show the end time selection however the animations used to open the quick settings panel are extremely slow on newer versions of Android so it takes ages to click the necessary buttons. A script like this might work in action Control UI:
quickSettings();
sleep(2000);
click("Do not disturb*");//disable DnD
sleep(2000);
click("Do not disturb*");//enable DnD again to show the end time selection

The dnd mode in a samsung phone is even dumber. You can't select when to end it, there's only a scheduele you can define from the settings menu. What I'm trying to do right now is a flow that asks how many hours ahould dnd be on for.
Trigger when dnd starts
open a timer dialog yo choose the hour when you want to end it.
Store that in a variable
Next you have to trigger the flow at that exact time and since the trigger 'time' doesn't work with variables (good feature request I guess) I'm setting a new calendar entry at that time to trigger the flow that stops the dnd
Only thing is I can't get rid of the pesky notification 'do not disturb turned on'
I know it's overly complicated and maybe uses some battery power with everything going on but it's useful to me

You could build your own timers in AM and somehow disable or bypass the OS's own prompts.
