Hello. I'm running android 6 close to stock rooted rom on a samsung note 5. I'm trying to clear an ongoing notification that appears when do not disturb mode is on. so I selected the right package, right id, but it doesn't go away. Could there be another way ? Maybe by running some kind of root command ?
Also does somebody know where all the device settings might be stored ? I tried every path and searched for every xml or database file I could open but I haven't found where are the settings for 'do not disturb '

Hi,

Please check the system settings, maybe there's a toggle to avoid this notification since it seems not to be shown on an Android version from Google.

Removing an ongoing notification is usually not possible. You could temporarily block notifications of the package that displays the notification. Long-touch the notification to see the package that sows the notification and then use Set App Notification State to turn off/block notifications of the package. You can then use a similar action to turn on the notification of the package afterwards again. Apps usually don't update the notifications when the notification is blocked temporarily. However it might not work to block notifications from the system itself.
