Hello, i use since yesterday automagic and have some questions
It is possible to group the cell id for a better overview. E.g. a group for home where all the scanned cells are inside or a group for work. At the current list are all scanned cells displayed and you dont know which cell belongs to what
i have a flow to turn wlan on/off and to turn on/off the sound. For that I have the trigger cell id gsm. The trigger starts at each cell change. Now i have 2 condition one for check is the current cell for home if yes then > action, if not then check is the current cell fore work if yes then action if not then action.
is this the right trigger therefor or is it better to use the trigger Periodical location update with an interval of 2 or 4 or 5 minutes? What effects have the both trigger on the battery
Right trigger for location

Re: Right trigger for location
Hi,
For regular location based flows I recommend to use trigger Location with the modern method and the largest acceptable radius for your flow and see if this works properly at your location. The modern method uses the Google Play services to check the location which is usually quite accurate and does not consume a lot of battery.
Using the cells to determine your location can be very inaccurate but if you want to go down this route, I recommend to create one flow for home and one for work and to in each trigger record the list of cells for the given location (in the cell trigger, press Start, wait a few hours at your location, go back to the trigger and fill in all recorded cells to the cell ID field, press the clear button and repeat the process at the other location for the other trigger).
Regards,
Martin

Hello!
Since you also want to distinguish the radio cells ("home" / "work"), you can leave it also with one flow, which you equipped with two triggers (radio cell "home" + radio cells "work").

Hallo!
