Testing if connected to wifi is too slow even when the All networks checkbox is enabled. On the contrary, testing if the signal strength is greater than zero is very fast. I see no reason why testing if the device is connected to any network should be slower than testing that the wifi strength is not zero.

The slowness is caused by a workaround that was required on some Android versions. I'll check if the workaround can be removed on current Android versions which should make the check faster.
