Hey there!
I have a call recording flow wherein every incoming and outgoing call is recorded in an audio file. When the call ends, audio recording is stopped and a notification is generated in the statusbar which asks whether to save or delete the recorded file.
I was trying to add another button named "Play" which should play the recorded audio file in case I want to hear a conversation before deciding whether to save it or not?
I've already tried the actions "Control Audio Player" (with both Media Button and Media Button Send to specified app) and "Sound". Both seem not to work on my device. Can anyone help me out in this regard?
Thanks

How to play recorded audio?

Re: How to play recorded audio?
Hi,
Action Sound should work when using Sound Type file. Is there some kind of error message or does it silently fail? Also ensure to use an audio stream that is not silent for some reason.

Martin

Thanks for your response.
Just to inform you that all calls are recorded in AAC (High quality) format with.mp3 encoding so that the generated file is a sound/audio file.Martin wrote:Hi,

Have tried using all audio streams. None was silent while trying.Martin wrote:Also ensure to use an audio stream that is not silent for some reason.

Re: How to play recorded audio?
Playing a recorded file seems to work on my device.
Please ensure that the audio file was stopped properly after recording (so that it's not recording anymore). Also verify that there's no typo in the file name and that the file really exists in the specified location. Also try to restart the device once.

Nothing helps

Re: How to play recorded audio?
Could you please send me one of your recorded audio files so I can check if it plays on my test devices?
Please also send me your flows that you use to record the audio file and the one to play the file so I can try to reproduce the problem.
You can send the files to info@automagic4android.com.
Thanks & regards,
Martin

Done. Mailed you a recorded audio file as well as the flows, Martin!
Do have a look at them and let me know your findings.
