NFC trigger opens web site

I created a flow with a trigger and an action. The trigger is an NFC trigger. I used the app to write an Automagic tag onto an NFC tag. App reported success. Action plays a sound. All flows except this one are disabled. Samsung Note Edge. Android 6.0.1. Latest Automagic. If I execute the flow manually it runs without error and plays the sound file.
When I place the phone on the tag it makes the regular NFC sound and then opens a browser to an automagic4android URL that contains the tag ID at the end. I turned off all default actions for the Automagic app.
What is happening? How do I use an NFC tag in a simple flow like this?

The Automagic log does not show my flow is executed. I deleted all defaults for all browsers and turned off Android Beam and S Beam. Behavior unchanged.

Tag type I used was "Automagic tag ID (Recommended)"

The application manager does not let me specify a URL for which Automagic is the default app. My attempts to trick it via a browser produced no results.

I switched to using the not-recommended existing ID. It works.

Oh that's kind of special.
Maybe there is actually something about the url that isn't being picked up the way it should.
I make good use of NFC inside Automagic myself, using the Automagic ID-method.
I also tend to write as less as possible on the tags, single numbers.
They can later then be referred to whatever you like. Also it quicker/reliable (i believe).

digitalstone, thanks for your message. I was encouraged.
The solution, at least on my device: When you write the tag (in the Automagic format) you *must* check "include application record." It and another option were both unchecked by default on my device. Now the tag and flow work fine.
