Custom Widget alignment on home screen?

Post by Wibbly » 17 Nov 2018 17:44

Anyone know how to make the widget align with other things on the home screen? Sunrise/Sunset widget below is an example - it's too low...

What launcher do you use? It mostly depends on that.
If anything, i'd recommend to give Nova Launcher a try.
With that you can place & align widgets the same way as you would with icons (plus it's highly customizable overal), i'm using it for many years now.

This is very launcher specific. You have to create the widget a bit taller. Let say now it is 200x200. Increase it to 200x240, the 40 is spared for the bottom margin. Then put the rectangle on top and adjust the rectangle and text size to match the icon size in the launcher. Need try and error until you get the alignment you want.
