I have been backing up my flows using the Export Flow/Widget action. I use * to include all flows and * to include all widgets. No flows or widgets are excluded. The file created is in
/Storage/emulated/0/Automagic/MyBackups/flows{triggertime,dateformat,MM-dd-yyyy HH:mm:ss}.xml. I then copy the newly created backup to a folder in Dropbox.


Here is my problem. It does not appear that widgets are included. How do I include widgets with my backup?

It is working fine here. I just tested with * for both flow and widget. My flows.xml is around 1.8 MB, widgets.xml is around 1 MB. Total exported flows_widgets.xml from this action is 2.8 MB.

Can you try with 1 flow and 1 widget, choose the small one. Export, then check the xml content using text editor, such as MiXplorer Text Editor.

I figured it out. Dumb user error by dumb user.
