Infrared commands

I have phone with infrared transmitter build in. Also I have app what send infrared commands to my TV, for example. I need to find what this app command sends to ir port(if I press pwr button for example) , and reuse this command using automagic. How can I do it?

I ever wanna request this also, and it seem there is the request already. I have some AC in the office which only react to one app. I know the code by peeking into the database, so I wish I can emulate them directly from java code. But after several try and error, I digress. If someone can point out how to use the code in java code, then we maybe can use this java workaround first.

The reason I don't use that app is because it always runaway, always running background for no reason and drain my battery. For app with only single purpose for me, I decided to eliminate it from the phone.
