Widgets turns to transparent

Hello,
Any AM custom widgets i have made turns to transparent after random time/use after restarting the phone. Widgets are still in there but transparent. This happends only to AM widgets. This problem seems to getting worse day by day (memory problem?)

I am using Nova launcher and i havent try any other launchers and i am not willing to try unless i must to Actually this problem has been at least two years now and it appears also with my old phone (Xperia z3c) with Android 8 and 9 with Nova launcher. Now i use Xperia xz2c with Android 9.

Any thoughts? I love to use AM and i have made many actions and custom widgets with it.

does this happen to all widgets? Try to create a new widget and give it some background and see it loses its color or not. It can be you have some script somewhere that changes the background color of the widget. I am using Automagic, its widgets and also nova launcher. But I never lose the background color there.

It can be the problem with how you restart the phone too. At mine, If I use soft reboot (restart System UI), this will erase all actions on all widgets!!! I never dare to touch that button anymore. Fortunately I have the backup, so I can restore all widgets action without having to recreate everything again.

This disappearance (the whole widget including foreground and background changes to transparent) happens for all of my AM widgets and only for AM widgets. I dont have any transparency control scripts in AM.

Oh, I got it. Yes I also have had the same problem. This happen when you backup and then restore nova configuration. It happens when I change ROM or do factorey reset then restore nova app. All widgets have to be readded back to make them appear again. So this is definitely launcher problem.

If you got the problem even without doing restore, then it seems to be memory leak problem. Try to make sure nova is never killed in any situation. Means you have to excluded it from power optimization or any other battery saver/RAM cleaner app.

I just tried to restart Nova. There is restart function in advanced options (etc. I have finnish version). That didnt help.

I newer do any backups for Nova (). By the way, My Nova wasnt in excluded list in battery optimization mode! Now its excluded. Lets see if this was a cure.

Just to remind the functionality of widget remains. Only changing transparent.

FYI and for all. The disappearing problem seems to be solved at least for now!

I just excluded the Nova from application list of battery optimization mode.
