I have a Samsung Tab A 10.5 (2018 - SM-T590) and try to waky up the display by using the app Motion Detector.
- stock Android 9
- unrooted


The combination Tasker + Motion Detector + Secure Options ist working. Only a little error message from the app "Secure Options" appears when Motion Detector is detecting motions.

Now i tried Automagic.
My flow: Motion Detector -> turn display on

In the list of all my flows this flow turns to red when a motion is detected. (The trigger is working fine?)
But when the display is off it doesn't turn on when motions are detected by Motion Detector.

The settings in the tablet-options for administrator are set for Automagic.

I didn't set the language to english before capturing them.

Try to use other action such as Vibrate or Sound, to give you other visual/audiotory feedback. If both doesn't work, it is your tab blocking the broadcast when its screen is off. If both actions working, then it is something with the action turn on display. Try to check the permission for Automagic, make sure you have granted everything.

I changed the action from "turn display on" to "sound".
The tablet is playing sounds at detected movements. It doesn't matter if the display is on or off.
So Automagic is receiving the broadcast and the trigger works.

In the tabletoptions i can't find the vibration-menu and in Automagic the action "vibration" shows me a note that the tablet has no vibration-feature.

And the app "Tasker" in combination with "Secure Options" ist working.
But there i can't change the time the display is on and the little error-window from "Secure Options".

I tried a Flow:
"shaking -> sound + display on"

I can hear the sound, but the display doesn't turn on.
So I have to find the option that prevents the action "display on".

I lost my patience.

After factory resett Automagic is running fine and displays turns on after Motion Detector sents the broadcast.
