any way to retrieve the share link of an uploaded Dropbox file?

Good evening everyone.

I did a flow to send voice notes via mail, where the recorded voice note is sent to Dropbox and a link is then sent again to the mail receiver, so that he can listen the note clicking on that.

To do that, I used control UI to open the android Dropbox app then generate the link, retrieve and copy it.

But I wonder if there would be a quicker and smoother way to retrieve that link.

I had a look at the play store and, while there is a google drive plugin, I couldn't find any for Dropbox.

Any idea or hint?

Maybe that could be a suggestion for future versions of automagic?

I don't use dropbox. MiXplorer has support for dropbox and can be called via broadcast intent. But I don't know if it supports to upload the file and get the link directly.

Folder sync has a lot of file hosting support and it has tasker plugin too. I know it can upload the file, but don't know if it can get the file link to be shared. It seems your current CUI method is the best way to do it without external plugin.

In the meantime, I found a way and already implemented into my flow: autoweb plugin.

It does retrieve the share link, works like a charm with automagic.

It has API for many other web services, I would suggest anyone interested in working with web services to have a look at it.
