SSH key, permission denied

So it seems like my pfsense server refuse password login from the phone. I'm then trying to use SSH key, but I'm getting error when trying to use it. Seems like the app don't have permission.

"Error
Connection failed:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /: open failed: EACCES (Permission denied)"

I have given it all permissions I can think of, storage, accessibility, etc. The id_rsa key is located on the internal memory, the Download folder, and tried with the Automagic folder, it has no SD card (Huawei p20).

I'm I SOL now when the app went EOL last month, or is there something my phone is blocking?

Updating to the Beta solved the problem.
