public subscription to make automagic open source

What about that?

If each of us would put say 50€ maybe we could buy AM and continue development as open source or else.

What do you think of that?

That would be great. This tool has so much potential. I hate to see it is to be wasted. I would love to see that AM becomes open source or its development taken by some talented coders. I believe decision is up to author of this fine software.

Sure it's up to Martin. I just wanted to say I am willing to subscribe to make it living again.

Is there any way to get in touch with Martin? If he agrees, maybe we could arrange something on a crowdfunding platform.

You could probably use the address from https://automagic4android.com/impressum_en.html

Hey Martin,

None of my business but the way I see it, the VULTURES are ready to swallow your years of hard work practically for free. I think you do not deserve this kind of takeover.

Take care.

Martin is not making anything from his hard work now. Maybe he simply doesn't want to or can't put ANY effort into it now. It would be interesting see what it would take for him to pass over the source without any effort (one time fee or whatever). Also if there is instead some legal obstacle preventing him from doing anything at all.

Over time, as Android progresses, AM will become more broken and less valuable anyway. It already won't fresh install on Android 12 :-( viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8845

I am stuck with Android 9 just to use Automagic in its full bloom.
