error saving flows

Hi, i've been searching for some info on this issue for a while in the forums with no luck: usually when editing flows, or when using a particular flow, i get both these notification and message:
Both file and directory exist, and backup script works, so it is not a matter of path or file naming.
Why is this happening? thanks.
