How to work with "Start Activity" action ?

hello,

anyone know, how to work with the action "Start Activity" ?

1. I want to start a sound recorder app and click its "Start recording" button .
2. If recording is paused by a call in between ,resume it by clicking "Resume" button .
3. At the end stop recording by clicking "Finish" button .
4. Save the file with some name .

Any idea ? anyone .I am new to android and dont know much about android programming.

How about this (just for learning)
Opening the Voicerecorder starts this flow ... the flow ends by killing the Voicerecorder off the tasklist.

Thank you reInbek for your reply it was perfectly designed idea . It would have served my purpose but to my fate I am running android 4.0.4 so cannot use the control UI action. But thanks for your reply.
