Why is the evaluation version not on Google Play?

Is there a particular reason for not having the free evaluation version available on Google Play? Having it there would make it much more easily accessible, and I'm sure it would attract more users. I see very little talk about Automagic on other internet forums, and the number of installs is low compared to other automation apps. I would really like to see this change, but pointing people towards an external download of an APK instead of the Play Store is not the most convenient way to spread the word. Additionally I think people searching the store for automation apps and seeing no immediate sign of a free trial version of Automagic leads to them not even checking out the app.

Hi,

Maintaining an additional app with a different package name requires more work than providing the evaluation version on our website.
For the short term it's not planned to provide the evaluation version on Google Play.
