Hi -
I've noticed that in "Settings > Security" a new area called "Notification Access" has appeared after installing this app. Should this be checked for non-rooted phones, or is it a root-only feature?

Re: Notification Access
Press the question mark in the upper right corner when in action/condition/trigger screen. It shows help page for currently selected element and also states whether or not it needs root access.
Re: Notification Access
Hi,
Notification access is only required when you use triggers to access statusbar notifications, for example Notification in Statusbar Displayed on Android 4.3+. You can keep this setting disabled when you don't use this trigger.
On older Android version (older than 4.3) Automagic had to use the accessibility service to detect notifications. Google introduced a new API with Android 4.3 that allows to detect notifications more reliably that needs this additional permission/setting.
