Let 's start a thread right here about everybodys experiences with the new Automation plugin feature.
It 's declared as 'in beta stage', but looks like working very well already.

Because of some of the more powerfull plugins are not free, it 's good to
share knowledge about the results using them.

So let's start:
I tried sending flexibel email over POP3 protocol using Stefan Dörr 's software
Locale SendSilentMail Plug-In.

Trigger: No | Action: Yes | Condition: No

0,79 Euro in Google playstore, very good notes: Well worth imho!
Everything is configurable with Automation variables, attachments and SSL
are possible. No big deal sending an email using the email server of my
private German freemail provider GMX to my company 's email account.
Works fine on first shot!

@Martin: Looks like there is a small issue in edit part of action plugin.
(sry for German here, I don't have an English version of Automation):
In last part: Einstellungen übersteuern the checkbox for Variablen er-
setzen/Konfiguration verändern works and get 's saved (tested by sending
the flow. The XML var <passExtras> is set to true).

But on reedit the checkbox isn't checked anymore and all text (vars) are
reset to defaults; all changes are gone.

Autoshortcut is actually designed for tasker, but it works well with automagic also. It allows you do anything with automagic what you can do with regular homescreen shortcuts.

I haven't done any extensive testing but I believe that is easier to use and has more options than launching shortcuts through automagic launch app action.

Many thx for the note to 'Autoshortcut'! It leads me to 'AutoRemote' plugin which works with and extends Automagic perfectly!
Internet connection required, ok, but it gives flexible and fast messages from Android device to de vice and even to Windows on PC!
Plugins power! Great!
Trigger: yes, Action:yes, Condition: yes (not closer checked)

Anyone having an issue with Autoshortcut? Doesn't show up in intalled plugins in Automagic... Note 2 running 4.1.2 with Nova Prime launcher. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, other plugins do show up as installed.

AutoShortcut works for me and is listed in Action Plugin in the dropdown list.
It seems to do about the same thing as action Launch Shortcut.

You're right Martin. They are essentially the same. I don't know how I have managed to miss the launch shortcut action when it's right below the launch app action, I mentioned earlier.
