Hello, all.
I'm very new to Android, having switched a few days ago from iOS. I'm looking for a service that will help alleviate the number one annoyance I've found, which I miss from my iOS devices: I would like my phone to light up whenever I receive a notification of any sort (email, text, etc). Essentially, if my phone vibrates (which it currently does for all notifications), I'd like it to light up as well.
I'm currently using the evaluation version of Automagic, but I haven't quite gotten it to do what I'm looking for. I see that "turn on screen" is one of the available actions, and I've set it up so that the device does light up when I receive a text. This works great. But, I can't figure out how to make it happen for my other notifications. Is there a trigger for "any notification" or "device vibrates"?
If I need to set up each one separately, that's also fine -- can I use "recieve email" as a trigger? How about "calendar reminder" or "dropbox files updated"?
Thanks for your help!
Light up on notification

Re: Light up on notification
Hi,
Android itself provides settings to control the notification LED.
Samsung: Settings->Display->LED indicator
Stock Android: Settings->Display->Pulse notification light
There also exist apps in Google Play to control the LED in a comfortable way:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... htflowlite
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ledblinker
You could also do something like this in Automagic by using a trigger Notification on Statusbar Displayed: app and an action Notification on Statusbar with Flash LED checked.
Regards,
Martin

Re: Light up on notification
Thanks for the quick reply, Martin. I'm actually hoping to make the screen itself light up when notifications occur, so that I can see at a glance what the notification is for. Any ideas on how to make that happen?

Re: Light up on notification
These flows will light up on any notification. Feel free to remove the debug display. The create notification flow is a tester.
