Hello everybody,
I have an important question.
It is possible to pay with paypal and activate Automagic without Google Playstore?
I use CM12.1(5.1.1) and LinegaOs 14.1( 7.1.1 ) on my devices without Google Playstore.
The app works perfectly on my devices.

i have the same question. i already payed for the play store version but i am also heavily relying on am4a on my oculus quest vr headset. i really need the app to keep working <3

Hi,

There's currently no official way to support Automagic on devices without Google Play since Automagic relies on Google Play and Google Play services for a few features that don't work without Google Play (updating, license check, some triggers, conditions, actions).
Feel free to contact me by mail if you don't mind that some stuff might not work and that you won't get updates automatically then I can try to generate a license key that does not rely on Google Play (note that this might not work properly since it's completely untested).

aber was ich benötige funktioniert.
Ich bin sehr an einer Lösung ohne Google Playstore interssiert !!
Meine 7 Tage Premium Lizenz läuft morgen ab.
Wie finde ich Deine E-Mail Adresse ? In Deinem Profil finde ich nichts ....

Here are the instructions that should make it possible to run Automagic on a device without Google Play:
1. Install Automagic on a device with Google Play and use an app to backup and send the APK to your other device.
2. Start Automagic on the device without Google Play.
3. Sooner or later Automagic should show a dialog about the license problem/missing Google Play. This dialog allows to report the problem by mail to info@automagic4android.com. Please send me the mail and let me know that you want to test the unofficial license feature.
4. I'll send you a license key that can be imported/stored on the device without Google Play.
5. You have to update Automagic manually as described in step 1 when a new version becomes available.

I have a expired version of AM already installed on that device and it asks me to reinstall from play store but when i click on that i get thrown back into the launcher

The EAP versions won't work since the EAP versions expire at a fixed date. You have to uninstall the EAP version first and install the version available on Google Play.
Alternatively you can also install the latest EAP version that is not expired yet.

@martin do you have any other way to get in contact except email? It seems like thats a hit and miss right now...
