There is one bug that has been bothering me for about two months... Sometimes there's no search icon when you start an app. To make it appear, you need to restart the app... Can you fix this?

I've experienced this little issue for a long time on stable release and still am running 1.37. So it's not new in 1.38. @Martin

It does seem to happen every first time the app is opened after rebooting the device. Not sure if that's the only time, but that is at least one way to reproduce it 100% of the time.

Will the new EAP get wifi ssid? My 1.37.0 on android 10 shows <unknown ssid>.

Hi,

Automagic should get the SSID when the location permission is granted to Automagic and when the location mode of the device is not turned off (this should work in v1.37 and v1.38).

Hmm, on a rooted Android 9, I usually set network_location_state=On, location_provider_allowed = network,gps. But with unrooted android 10, I guess I have to make it on all the time as I can't use system setting.

@yxd0018 : This is limitation on Android 10. You have to enable location high accuracy all the time and make sure Automagic is set to always allow in the location permission. Look at android 10 known issue : viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7947&start=10#p27017
All elements that use wifi, bluetooth scanning and similar feature, now require location to be enable all time.

I am currently trying ArrowOS 10 and I'm getting ssid with location_mode=2, location_providers_allowed=network, Allow only while using the app.

@anuraag : Can you try with wifi connected/disconnected trigger? Or Wifi Scan Results Available trigger too.

I try havoc 3.0 android 10 early this year, and maybe that is ROM specific limitation/bug. I don't try the location mode though and I already can't stand using ROM without DUI smartbar. Now stay in android Pie 9.0 as long as I can.

I have flows with Wifi disconnected, Wifi State trigger. Both working. I don't use wifi scanning results but it is also working. Your secure setting logger helped here for location settings.
