don't know whether it's an issue of the EAP version.

Today all my global variables were lost! I don't exactly know when it happened. Maybe because they were too many. (Some had a database (lists in list) with about hundred entries)

And sometimes it happens that certain global variables are deleted. I'm quite sure that it's not one of my flows that delete them.

Did the device crash before the global variables were lost or did you manually stop/restart Automagic?
Could you please enable Debug Log and Log to SD card and send the log to me (info@automagic4android.com) when this happens the next time?
What device model, Android version and ROM are you using?

Is length(map) supposed to give 0 also when there is just one element in the map?
Also, if I create a global variable of type map and I use the Manage tool to show and edit them, it shows as a string and there is no "Map" type.

length should return 1 when the map contains an entry. Could you please share an example flow/script where this is not working?

Unfortunately I did not have the time yet to create an UI to edit maps in the UI. It's on my list and should be available in one of the next updates (as time permits).
For now you have to use a script to modify a map.
