Changes in this update:

• added workaround section to preferences to workaround bugs on some ROMs

I can not reproduce this one anymore on the latest EAP. Are you on Build 20140814_191913_5ff19eb (menu->Manage->About)?

I have downloaded 20140814 build from the first post.

Hmm, the link on the first post and in the update post seem to point to version 20140814. Maybe some kind of browser caching issue.
When you download Automagic again, do you still get version 20140809?

In the current 1.24 EAP release the search function does not find a text in Scripts and Expressions and others action "details" like the text property of Notification on Screen.
I'm pretty sure in previous versions this did work. Kind of hard to find all uses of a (global) variable without this...
It does however still find the searched text when it's part of the name of an action/condition or flow.

The search always just searched for the text in the name of the action which seems to be quite strange when I think about it. Let me add this to the todo-list.

And I think I know why I thought it worked before: when using the default name of a Script action the variable is part of the name and thus found.
But with longer and more complex scripts I now often tend to use an explicit name for the action which describes what is done. And there any variable names are not present
