I don't know what the correct term is. I mean when you aren't playing anything in the background and the screen has been turned off for 30 min-hours.
I've tried triggering the flow by creating events and I see the flow working then.

Doesn't Calendar Event work when phone is "asleep"?

Re: Doesn't Calendar Event work when phone is "asleep"?
Hi,
The trigger should also work when the device is "asleep" provided that the calendar events have been synchronized to the calendar on the device and that no power saving feature stops Automagic from running.
The triggers usually execute on the start or end of an event. Please ensure that the event is not synced late. Automagic will not trigger when an event is synced after the time when the trigger should have been executed.
Regards,
Martin

It's not a sync issue. I think the flow used to work before.

Did you recently update the ROM or install some kind of Task cleaner or power saving app?
Could you please enable Debug Log and Log to SD card in the preferences of Automagic, wait until the problem occurred one more time and then send the log to me (menu->Manage->Log, menu->Send log)?
