Click UI - Strange behavior

Post by krishnivas » 14 Dec 2015 11:06

Hello.
I've been using Automagic for a long time now. I use "Click UI" to toggle mobile data on and off as my device isn't rooted. Recently I bought a new device with dual sim and I tried to do the same with the new device as well. When I execute the flow, I could see that click UI toggles the data on or off. But when I go back into the settings, it's unchanged. For example, if I saw click UI turning mobile data off, it is still on when I go back into the settings. I used click UI with coordinates. But the same works perfectly for location toggle. Please help.

Hi,

Unfortunately Dual SIM devices often cause problems. I assume that toggling the mobile data setting manually reacts the same? Does your device have some settings that affects which SIM is used for mobile data?

Martin

Hi Martin.
Manual toggling of mobile data works just fine. And yes, there's a preferred sim for mobile data but it's just a one time selection.

Best Regards
Krishna

And you are toggling the exact same setting with Control UI that you also toggle manually? Maybe this is some kind of security feature of your ROM but I'm surprised about this behavior.
Could you turn on 'Debug Log' in the preferences of Automagic, execute the flow to toggle the setting and then send the log to info@automagic4android.com?

Yes. It's the exact setting. Email sent as well.
