So,I have so far setup Facebook so I can text-to-facebook and I use that to send a text via automagic when I reach work and home.
I use this to let my SO know I have arrived at work and home safe and on time.
problem is that this kinda spams Facebook.
I'd much prefer if there was a way to send a message via trillian messenger or even AOL instant messenger so I don't have to spam my Facebook status. I really don't think all my family and friends need to see when I get to work and home....
Oh and just texting them doesn't work. They don't have a cell phone, just a landline.
