Known Issues on Android 6

I just loaded onto my Galaxy S7 but cant get the Wifi tethering to switch. Is this a known error?

getting ch.gridvision.ppam.androidautomagic was not granted this permission.WRITE_SETTINGS

Have not seen a prompt to get this permission?

Hi,

@1-2-Hak: Could you please enable Debug Log in the preferences of Automagic, execute the action one more time and then send the log to me (menu->Manage->Log, menu->Send Log)? Please also check System settings->Apps->Cog-Wheel at top of screen->Modify system settings: check that Automagic is set to Yes.

Martin - emailed the Debug log.

I enabled all permission options for the App but did not resolve issue. Also installed the Workaround app.

Did you also enable the permission to modify system settings? It's hidden in another area than the regular permissions (cog-wheel icon on Google Android 6). I have no Samsung Android 6 yet but should get an S7 later this week.

I have tried some of the other system settings change such as set bluetooth and set wifi. They work without issue so it only seems to be set Wifi Tether State thats the issue

Hi,

I've just received an S7. Following procedure seems to work:
-open System Settings->Applications->Application manager->More->Change system settings
-disable Automagic Premium (it's a bug in the ROM that the toggle is shown as turned on, since the permission is not actually granted)
-enable Automagic Premium again (this should grant the permission)
-test if action Set WiFi Tethering State works

Wow good find. That does indeed fix it. How in the world did you find that bug?
