Intent to trigger update of 'Press' app

Hi,
I'm using 'Press' by Twentyfive Squares as my offline RSS reader and I'd like to trigger the update of the feeds by automagic.
Has someone an idea how to do this?

Hi,

Please check if the app integrates into the regular sync feature of Android. If yes, you can probably use action Request Sync to update the feeds.

Hi,
unfortunately it doesn't look like 'Press' uses the sync feature. Nevertheless, thanks for directing my attention to 'Request Sync'. I didn't know how much I needed this until now
