Modify Automagic service icon via a flow

Post by aureliend » 08 Jan 2017 20:48

Hello,

I am currently trying the Automagic trial before considering buying it and I did not find if it was possible to update the icon of the keep alive service via a flow.
I managed to hide the icon by default (in parameter, by lowering priority) but I did not find a way to update it.

In fact I would like to use the service icon as a reflect of the current sound profile (vibrate, normal). In normal mode I would like no icon, in vibrate I would like a vibrate icon.
I tried to use the action to retrieve the notification list and modify the service notification but the one for Automagic as a "-3" ID so I cannot modify it...

I know I could use a new notification with a fixed ID in order to be able to update its icon but I would like to have only one persistent notification for Automagic (not one for ring mode and one for keep alive service).

Does anyone know if there is a trick or anything that could solve this problem ? Thanks a lot ;)

Hi,

To my knowledge it's not possible to modify this icon.
I recommend to post a new notification with a fixed ID and to hide the original notification. You can hide the notification without affecting the priority/reliability of Automagic by temporarily blocking the notifications of Automagic either manually after a reboot or by using a flow and action Set App Notification State (requires root).

Martin
