Display a webpage programmatically

Post by husky » 05 Jan 2017 15:33

Hello,

I'm probably flying to high for a rookie with AutoMagic and everything else connected to this query.

Is there a way to display a webpage directly to AutoMagic without use of a browser?
(Obviously it is easier just point a browser to the page and avoid any hurdle.

For example, display this webpage: http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/graphi ... plains.php

I downloaded the page into my phone but from there on I'm not sure I can (or how) to display it using AutoMagic.

Thanks

Hi,

No, you have to use some kind of browser to display the page. Alternatively maybe there exists some online service that could render the webpage to an image which then could be used in a widget or a notification etc.

Martin,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm really flying too high with my ideas.
I tried a number of options using Download URL and HTTT Request pointing to the link but the connection times out every time I try.

I'll drop this issue for now and perhaps in the future I'll find a way.

I also tried another link : http://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/observat ... d/KMLE.TXT but got me a bunch of errors.
That would allow me to get METAR decoded data for some flows/widgets I developed earlier.

Anyway, thanks

Regards
