Upload file via multipart/form-data POST request

How can I do that without using curl?

With curl it's so simple, but on other device I can't install curl for some reasons.

Feature request already here:

but at this moment any workarounds will be appreciated...

There's probably no good workaround except by using curl or maybe there exists a plugin that allows to upload files.
I'm aware of the feature request and it's already on my list of features under consideration but it will take quite some time since the list is so long.
