Phone: Galaxy S4 (Android 4.4.2)
Watch: Huawei Smartwatch (Android Wear 1.5)
Car: 2012 BMW 328xi idrive
I've been having problems with my Phone/Car Bluetooth connection after the phone is disconnected from my smartwatch. So I created a simple flow with Automagic that as soon as it detects car Bluetooth connection, it disconnects the watch from the phone, and connects phone to the car. It works a 100% of the time, but unfortunately it doesn't always sync my phone contacts, and I get a blank list. It does work sometimes, but only when I shut down the car for a few minutes, and then start it up again. It's like the car keeps Bluetooth connection active for some time, so it detects it right away and works properly. But if the car sits idle for a while, I'm back to square one. I've played with different settings, as well as flow options, but nothing seems to help. I've also tried breaking the flow into two different ones, but with the same result. Attached is the screenshot as well as the actual .xml file of the flow. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Phone contacts don't sync with car
Have you tried putting a short "sleep" delay (say 10 seconds) between disconnecting the headset and connecting to the car?

Re: Phone contacts don't sync with car
Yes, I have, Philip. Thanks for your suggestion. I should probably also mention that it works sometimes even after the car has been sitting idle for a while. What I do is that after I open the car, I just sit there and wait for about 20-30 seconds without turning the ignition on. When I do, the phone connects and my contacts get synced. It's somewhat annoying to remember to do it all the time though, plus I've never had a 100% success rate with that.
