Keyboard gets in the way

Post by bogdyro » 01 Apr 2017 06:23

Hi. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but when editing scripts and trying to use autocomplete on a word, the keyboard always gets in the way and you can bearly see the autocomplete menu that opens. Can anything be done to make It appear from the top of the screen or autohide the keyboard?
I've attached a screenshot for example

Hi,

Placement of the autocomplete popup is handled by the system so usually should appear in a visible location or in front of the keyboard. Please try to use the somewhat bigger 'standalone' script editor by clicking the Script label as a workaround. Maybe the autocomplete dialog behaves better when the text editor has more space.

Regards,
Martin

Hi Martin. It's better only when the script isn't long and it's positioned at the top of the screen, then the pop-up menu has space to be seen.

sorry to dig up an old thread but this never got better and it actually ruins autocomplete for me.
I attached another screenshot to illustrate the problem.
You see the popup window appearing behind the keyboard, with no way to scroll the window down.
Is everyone having the same problem?
(for Martin)
I have found some threads on stackoverflow that talk about this thing.
1. This guy wants the opposite suggesting there are some settings to change the behavior
https://www.google.ro/url?sa=t&source=w ... 2XniW7hUWq
2.This other guy wants it to appear over the keyboard
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/339 ... t-keyboard

maybe you can take a look at this and tell me if you could fix it on your side. Thanks
