Active Network Type 'switching'?

Post by digitalstone » 27 Apr 2018 12:58

I would like to know if i need separate trigger "WiFi State" , "Bluetooth State" etc. if i can use trigger "Active Network Type".
With the trigger "Active Network Type" you can choose which network type it tracks for switching.
But what if i'm on Mobile Data while using Bluetooth and paying through NFC?
There would be no "switching".
I believe i am confused to bits.

Hmm, I am confused of what you want to achieve. :?: Each switching will be an event and triggers the flow if you have selected it. You can know which one is triggering the flow by evaluating the network_type or network_type_name. Branch the flow accordingly based the value.

Yes sorry, i know my question was kind of vague.

So i was using trigger "wifi state" before, also "Bluetooth state".
But am i right that i can replace those separate triggers just with this 1 trigger (Active Network Type)?

I think you can. But you will need more expression to do the splitting branch. Kinda messy and counterproductive then. Unless you really need to pack all your other flows into single flow.

After some testing with a testing flow, it was already feeling kind of cumbersome (within this context that is).
The separate triggers will work fine, just like you said.
Thank you Desmanto :)
