Long used Widget showing Battery % shows only 100%

A widget I developed quite a bit ago that was working fine, now only shows the Battery % at 100%.

I have tried:

• removing widget and reinstalling
  creating a new widget showing battery percentage
  power cycling phone
  uninstall & teinstall of app

It still shows at 100%

Pixel XL OG, Android 9.

Any thoughts?

What is your script to change the battery percentage? Did the problem happen after you updated to Android Pie 9.0? If yes, probably there is some changes happen under the hood and you need to modify the script to adapt for the changes.

I forgot there was a Flow to update battery %. Somehow it got turned off.
