motorola moto power pack detection

I have have motorola moto with power pack motomod (case with second battery). This external battery is detected as AC power source. Could be possible to detect this external battery as battery?

Unless the external battery provide some broadcast intent you can use, then it is not possible to do it. If you have root/adb, you can try to dumpsys the battery when you plug the motomod and see if there is anything you can use as the event trigger.
