With unlock I mean to simply enter the PIN or password in the keyguard.

There is no "keyguard" as the device is not a phone. It's a media box. The screen that is shown is always the main desktop which unlike the desktop on a phone doesn't even have multiple pages. And I found that my remote keyboard has left and right mouse buttons. I tried those but "long press" does nothing (no widget screen opens or any other screen).
