Answer ringing call > doesn't work since And. 1.3.2019 patch

Hi
Have several Samsung Galaxy S8, need to answer incoming calls automatic via action"answer ringing call".
Set in this action the mode "Methode 3 (Android 8*).
This worked fine on all my Samsung Galaxy S8 with Android security patch level 1. Feb. 2019, also when the screen was dark/sleeped.
After SW Upgrade to Android security patch level 1. March 2019, is doesnt work anymore, if the screen is dark/sleeps.
Calls only will be answered, if the screen not is dark/not in sleep mode.

Android 9

Does anyone know this problem?

When the screen is off dan called, didn't the screen turn on briefly? try again the flow with screen off, check the log afterward to see if the flow is triggered or not. If triggered, look at the log and see if the answer call action executed successfully or failed with error. If not triggered, it can be that the phone didn't send the event when screen is off. Can be a screen off event blocker or something similar. Try to check the app monitor/battery optimization feature

.Can be a screen off event blocker or something similar. Try to check the app monitor/battery optimization feature:

>> All rights granted like : phone, micro, call log
>> "Appear on top" and "change system settings" also ON for Automagic
>> "Accessibility Service" is ON.

Just now again reproduced with another Samsung S8:
Android 9 with patch level 1. Feb. 2019 >> Answer ringing call works
upgraded to:
Android 9 with patch level 1. March 2019 >> Answer ringing call DOESNT WORK ANYMORE



!!! UPDATE !!!!:
Isue found, set a "sleep: 2 sec" beteween trigger of incoming call and action "answer ringing call" >>> Now it works again.

Oh. Maybe when sleep, the OS delay the availability to pick up the phone. While Automagic send the instruction to answer the call immediately. Glad you found the solution already. This maybe can be applied to some other similar random bug from various ROM problem.
