Wifi tethering switch
Hi.. i have a very successful and working flow to disable my wifi when i disconect. But cannot find a way ti do so with wifi tethering!? Is there such a way to auto turn off my hotspot like i do with my wifi?
Re: Wifi tethering switch
There is an action available Set WiFi Tethering State to toogle.
Re: Wifi tethering switch
Yep i seen that and was gonna use it. But there is no trigger like bluetooth and wifi to where some device disconnects to trigger that action for tethering
Re: Wifi tethering switch
You need root or maybe using dumpsys (maybe @desmanto could help).
Re: Wifi tethering switch
Some phones have this feature built in. But if you don't have it then check whether there is any notification on statusbar when devices are connected & disconnected. My old Samsung phone used to show how many devices are connected in notification. So if it shows 'zero' device then take advantage of this using "notification on statusbar displayed" 'contain text: 0 devices connected' , something like that...
My current phone running stock android doesn't have this tho.
