If possible, avoid snaptube, as it has history of putting shady codes inside the app. Use Newpipe instead, it is open source. I don't know if it is 100% safe, but at least much safer than snaptube.

To get songs on Spotify, I don't use Snaptube but Spotify to MP3 Converter. Why? It also works on a free Spotify account that I'm using also.
Besides, as the name suggests, it's available to convert Spotify to MP3 but other common audio files, like FLAC, WAV, AAC, M4A, as well as M4B.
I don't need to worry about audio quality. Although the audio quality is 160 kbps with my free account, it allows me to set the bit rate as 320 kbps.
By the way, it supports lossless WAV, FLAC. So why not use this tool to get songs on Spotify?
