The End of Automagic

Re: The End of Automagic
This is really sad news.
I discovered Automagic 3 years ago when I switched to Android and, since then, I never found another app more useful and well developed.
In the past I tried a couple of other similar apps (I don't know why, with more downloads..) but I can say that there is no comparison.
That said, I hope Martin, one day, if possible, will reconsider his decision or at least he will decide to pass the baton to someone he trusts. It would be a pity if such a project was destined to die.
Thanks for everything and I wish you all the best.

Re: The End of Automagic
Have you considered an subscription?
I would gladly pay to keep this going.

Re: The End of Automagic
I've been using Automagic for at least 7 years, it is probably the most important app on my phone to me. I use it to manage as much as I can, big and small.
I really wish you would consider either moving to a subscription based model or something to keep it alive or open source it and let someone fork it.
Whenever I move to a new phone this is probably one of the first apps I install before I start actively using the device.
I'm really going to miss this app, but w/ the way 2020 is going, it figures.

Re: The End of Automagic
Anyway I think we can use am for some years until we buy a new phone with a version of android totally incompatible
Re: The End of Automagic
Thank you for everything. My smartphone without AM is nothing. I hope you come back. Maybe you understand what is going to happen to the world (black future).
Thank you again.
Thank you again.

I don't believe this! Android without Automate is useless!
I would be happy to pay a fee to keep Automate going!
Thanks for a great app!

So sad. Best app in android industry. Android will like a brick now.
These are some of my widgets.

Re: The End of Automagic
This is the worst news I ever have for Android. It is the best app I ever installed and like other users, I depend on it very much.
I hope it can live again and I believe a lot of users are willing to pay a subscription to keep this great app

Oh, no...Martin wrote: ↑07 Aug 2020 20:18For personal and economical reasons we have to announce that the development of Automagic has been stopped and that Automagic is no longer available in Google Play for new users.
In the download section of our website you can find the latest Google Play version (v1.37) and the latest version with adaptations for Android 10 including some new features (v1.38).
We would like to thank all users, friends and family members for their support over the last 10 years.
Best regards,
Martin
