Good morning everyone.
Is there a sort of input dialog on wear os?
Say I would like to launch a timer and choose how many seconds to count from a set of menu items (f.i. 60, 50, 30).
I could lunch a shortcut on the watch, then I would like to get a menu showing those options.
Any way to do that?
Thank you and have a nice Sunday.

Re: input dialog on wear os?
Good evening,
There's the action INPUT SPEECH for Wear devices. It returns a variable named VALUE.
You can assign a SHORTCUT (ANDROID WEAR) to start it from the watch.
On my Huawei watch it has the option for Italian.
Hope this helps you.
Micky

Re: input dialog on wear os?
Than you.
Yes I had thought of that, but a bit too clunky, you have to press to make it start listening, speak, then tap again to confirm.
And maybe it does not work for it does not recognize the voice well.
A menu where you could choose amongst some options would be much more handy.
Still I guess there is not, nor there will since automagic stopped development.
Thank you and have a nice day.

Hello
The other option is a widget.
Screenshot shows a 2x2 grid with assigned actions.
I think this is suitable for your needs.
