Android 12

I installed Android 12 Beta 4 on Thursday. To date, it has caused no problems with Automagic.

Which Automagic version did you use - 1.37 or 1.38?

I'm asking because I had to go back to 1.37 on Android 11 to make the widgets work.

V1.38 but I don't use widgets. I made a few years ago but they were so ugly I couldn't take it. Maybe I'll give it another go and let you know if they work on my phone or not.

I only use one "professional" widget on my phone, the Google fit step counter. Since moving to 12 it keeps disappearing and I need to keep adding it again. I mention this in case you're having a similar experience.

After posting my reply, I read your message properly and now see your issue was with Android 11, not 12. Sorry. I don't use widgets.

So, on the Android 12 release version on a Pixel 3a XL, and not spotted any of my flows broken so far, so all good

I'm also surprised that It's still working under Android 12. Even the widgets still work.
I'm on Automagic 1.37 and I wonder if the widgets keep working with Android 1.38.

Which version of Automagic are you using - 1.37 or 1.38?

One problem I noticed under Android 12 is the overlay for the UI control. It disappears when opening the android settings. So there's no way for me to find out the UI elements of the settings.

1.38. But the only widgets I use are for screen overlays and they are still working

hm. i cant get permission for access to internal storage on setup of automagic on android 12 (specific: pixel experience 12)
when it shows the (internal) file manager where you select 'use that folder' its greyed out, because 'To protect your privacy, choose another folder'.
anyone else have this on android 12?

Same here. But 1.37 goes in ok.
