Hey guys, I need your help.
I am unable to find any actions like reboot, shutdown or power off.
I've activated in the settings the root options and admin options.
I wonder and remember that I had formerly in Automagic the possibility to automate the reboots and shutdowns.
I've updated my phone (Galaxy S2) and my Nexus 10 to Android 4.2.2 with Custom ROMS ("Cyanogen Mod" on SGS2 and "Buttered AOKP" on Nexus 10).
Are there any changes in the newest Android versions which avoid these functionality?

Re: Reboot & Power off
Hi,
Reboot and shutdown are not available to regular apps. You can reboot the phone on many ROMs using action Execute Root Command: reboot or shutdown using Execute Root Command: reboot -p.
This forum post contains some more interesting actions:

There will be new actions Shutdown and Reboot in the next version of Automagic (currently available as EAP version in the EAP forum).
Regards,
Martin

Re: Reboot & Power off
Hey Martin, very thanks to you. Thats all I need to know. I tried the execute root command function with reboot and started it manually. It works fine. I will watch tomorrow the planned task. The only thin, as described: It is a very hard and short reboot and not a regular shutdown command. But nomally I have no critical tasks in the morning if I want to reboot my tablet.
Thanks again Martin. Have a nice weekend.
