Is there a command in the control ui to perform a long press?

Is there a way to use control ui to jump to a particular home screen rather than just home()?

I'm not sure about the first one(gingerbread), but the second one depends on the home launcher you use. Some launchers provide an option to change screens with shortcuts. In that case you may be able to use launch shortcut action in automagic.
