Best location result

Hello,

i determine the location Periodically (every 10 minutes) in a flow simultaneously with two trigger (GPS and network). Is this the right way to get a best possible result?

Only GPS does not work because'm not sure if I've ever received.
Network might be too inaccurate.

Hi,

The next version of Automagic adds new location providers offered by Google which will automatically provide better results in many situations.
Another way would be to execute a flow periodically with trigger Periodic Timer and use actions Init Variable Location: GPS with a suitable timeout to determine the GPS location first and use another Init Variable Location: Network when the first action fails.

Select the location provider drop-down and switch to one of the experimental providers (High Accuracy, Balanced Power/Accuracy, ...).

I tried the High Accuracy one but it produces the same results like the network location :/

i have the newest dev from 2014-05-05 but i have only Network, Passive and GPS in "Init Variable Location"?

Whats wrong?

Hi,

Google Play Services need to be available on the device for the other location providers to show up. Are you using a device without Google Play/Google Play services or are you using a custom ROM?
