NFC warning
Hello,
when I create trigger Automagic NFC Tag (first option - recommended), write to tag and then scan, my phone show me internet alert:" Connect to http://automagic4android.com/automagic_ ... id=TAG_123. Continue?". Whether it is possible to run trigger without this message? Phone SGS3. Other applications NFC do not need permission to start the task.

Re: NFC warning
Hi,
When you select "OK" in the dialog, will it correctly trigger in Automagic?
My SGS3 does not behave in this way. Are you using the stock ROM of Samsung? What Android version are you using?

Martin

Re: NFC warning
Yes, when I click OK, task is performed. Cancel aborts task. I have stock ROM from T-Mobile (Poland). Android 4.1.2. Previously I was using "NFC Trigger" (now called "Trigger") with Tasker and the task was done without asking.
When scanning TAG written in another program or blank, the task runs without asking for a connection so it's probably a problem with the write TAG option - recommended.

Re: NFC warning
The next version of Automagic includes an option to write an AAR (Android Application Record) to the NFC tag which should increase the priority of Automagic to handle the tag.
I will make the new version available in the EAP forum soon (hopefully tomorrow).
Could you please test if this new option helps on your device when the new version is available?

Re: NFC warning
Ok, I look forward to the new version. Thank You.
Re: NFC warning
Unfortunately continue saved by Automagic TAGs ask for confirmation connection with address even with the option of AAR. Looks like Automagic save the ID as a link to the application with a parameter ID. Unfortunately, the application name has postscript ".com" and my phone recognizes it as an internet domain address. In addition, with the option AAR, size of my ID is limited to 2 characters due to the small capacity of the tag. I can only save TAGs in another program and read by Automagic as "Existing TAG ID".
Re: NFC warning
I will include one more option to write another URL to the tag which hopefully does not show the warning dialog.
Could you please test the next version with the new option one more time?

Re: NFC warning
The new version is available: Automagic.apk
It's based on the latest EAP version but includes one more option Write alternate tag information. You can disable the AAR option to reduce the size of the data to write to the tag.
Do you still get the warning when the alternate tag information is used?

Re: NFC warning
Yesterday the T-Mobile PL has released android 4.3 for my SGS3. Today I checked the action on the previous settings - with and without AAR. This effect is the same as before: similar alert but with the option to disable in the future. In contrast, the second option "alternative" has been running without a message Now everything works as it should. Congratulations to solve this mystery "Write alternate tag information" is the only solution.
Re: NFC warning
Thanks for testing!
I will include the options in the next official Google Play version. Perhaps I will make the 'alternate tag information' the default in a future version after I had a chance to test more devices for compatibility issues.
