Google Activity Detection

Post by rcfree » 10 Dec 2013 11:01

There is the possibility to use the feature of Android "Google Activity Detection" to detect that I'm in the car?

It's not yet implemented in Automagic but it's on my list of features under consideration.

I'll be waiting for the implementation of this feature, which will be very useful for many people.

I ask you to give priority to this feature.

Great support, great software!

Thanks for implementing this feature and listen to users. Now no need to worry about manually turn on Bluetooth when I'm in my car.

Can you clarify how to pull this information, or how to set up a condition that is true or false depending on whether one of those five conditions is true? And does anyone know whether the foot vs. bike vs. car depends on intermittently activating GPS and computing a speed from that?

Driving by car seems to work fairly reliable, I use it to automatically turn on bluetooth. See the attached flow for the settings I use in the trigger.

The trigger does contain the necessary data, just look at the xml file with a text editor.
Do you use an older version of Automagic that does not yet support this trigger type???

Sorry, seems I had another? flow with the exact same name and empty trigger :-D. This time when I downloaded the flow, it warned that I already had a flow with that name. The new download showed the trigger with activities. Thank you, I will study it :-)

Edit my phone choose to write something else than was meant to be, I corrected my phone :-P
